AI Fajer Re bags the Best New Retakaful Company in the 2nd International Takaful Awards

Kuwait's AI Fajer Retakaful Insurance Company K.S.C.C (AI Fajer Re) was chosen as the Best New Retakaful Provider 2009 by the Middle East Business Forum, which celebrated the success of their Second Annual TakafuI Awards. The award ceremony was held on 1 July 2009 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London. The winners were drawn from a pool of nominees by an expert panel of judges, which included journalists, lawyers and eminent Takaful practitioners.

The awards were announced by Mr Mohaned Abdullah, Chairman of the Middle East Business Forum and presented by Ayman AI Ajmi, General Manager of Enaya AIG Takaful along with Lord Sheikh.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Mr. Jan Davis, Chief Executive Officer of AI Fajer Re stressed that the win would provide the best platform for AI Fajer Re to highlight its quality products and services.

"The award proves that even though we are a new company, we have gained acceptance in the market," said Mr. Davis. "We are grateful to receive this award and we thank the promoters, sponsors and most importantly our valued clients".

"This award reflects the culmination of the huge effort made by our staff who are dynamic, creative and constantly seeking to improve our products and service. Our clients have shown that they appreciate the way we do our business", added Mr. Davis.

Mr. Davis further said that the award would encourage the company to sustain its progress and that AI Fajer Re will utilize this as a springboard for its continued success in the future, thus enabling it to stand tall in the industry.

"Recently, we have formulated various plans to penetrate new markets in the coming years and a considerable effort has been made to ensure that these plans can be implemented in the near future," concluded Mr. Jan Davis.
